Dear Kathy, Allan, Nancy and Families,

I am saddened to hear of your loss; so many wonderful times our family has spent with yours... for my whole life - and our mothers and fathers were friends before that! Like Peter, I am especially remembering wonderful times at the island with your family and especially your mother. I am so sorry that I will not be able to join you on Saturday to remember her with you - I will also be there in spirit.

To Kathy and Family
I was part of your mom's team of investment advisors at RBC Dominion Securities until my retirement in December 2009. We had some wonderful conversations with your mom, not only about investments, but her most favored subject: her amazing family!
How fortunate that she reached the age of 92 - and that she reached the level of great grandmother - she will be remembered for generations to come.
Sincerely,
~nissen

Dear Alan, Nancy, Colin, Kathy and Family
My sincere condolences to all. Shirley was such a wonderful person and will be sadly missed. I have very fond memories of times I have spent with Shirley over the years that I will hold dear to my heart. I will miss her beautiful smile and that great laugh. Her care and concern she always had for me whenever we saw each other made me feel like I was part of her family too. With deepest sympathy.
