It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Thelma on Wednesday February 6, 2019 in her 57th year, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Thelma will be missed by the love of her life Ilija of 29 years. Beloved mother of Stanley (Joanna), James, Aleksandra (Jovan) and Kristina. Cherished daughter of Sophie and the late Stanley Zaraliakos and daughter-in-law to the late Slobodan and Zora Lekic. Loving sister of Mary (Nick), Debbie (Ilija) and Chrissy (Dimitri) sister-in-law to Olga (Milan), Ivanka (Paul), Mica and Velinka (Srecko). Thelma will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, godchildren, friends and Kumovi.

Thelma dedicated 34 years working for Mohawk Medbuy Corporation as a Payroll and HRIS Specialist as a key member of the Human Resource team.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care during this difficult time.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday, February 10th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Vigil Prayers for Thelma will be held Sunday evening at 7:00 pm. at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, 233 East 15th Street, Hamilton on Monday, February 11th at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton.
