In Celebration of

Victor Zenon Kuchma

KUCHMA, Victor Zenon (1928 - 2017)

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, November 18th, in his 90th year. Devoted son to the late Elsie (Rudneski) and Michael Kuchma. Predeceased last March by his beloved wife of 62 years, Rose Ann Kuchma (Dvernechuk). Loving father to Rick (Sandra), Kathy (Edward), Ronald and Lori. Adoring grandfather of Rachael (Mick) and Katie (Steve) Ryder. Dear brother to Genny and Lydia, and the late Peter, Gene, Lil and Nadia. Victor was a kind, decent and gentle man. No one would have had an unkind thing to say about him. He was a loving and devoted husband to his beloved Rose and a wonderful father. He was a true family man. His family was his life and we have an endless supply of great memories and many pictures that reflect those memories. Picnics at Waterford, ice cream at Stoney Creek Dairy, swimming at Lakeland Pool and pizza at Mother's were some of the outings he cherished with his family and friends. It was always enjoyable to reminisce with him and to listen to his stories from his youth. He loved playing cards with Rose and their friends. His music collection was impressive, one which we will continue to enjoy. He loved his Ti-Cats and weighing in on the post-game radio show. He was hard-working, fun, and perpetually good natured. Vic retired after 33 years as a production mechanic at American Can. He then went on to enjoy a second career as a Bingo Hall Manager for another twenty-two years in Cambridge and the Hamilton area. As heart-broken as we are to lose him, we are equally proud and grateful to have had this wonderful man as our father.

Your description of your Dad is 'right on' - he was always a true gentleman. Our
parents were friends in the late 40s and 50s. I remember Vic's mother well. On behalf of the Andreychuk family, our sincere condolences.

Gentle, calm and always smiling: that is how I will remember my grandpa. He had kind eyes and a kind heart to match. You could always count on him for generosity -of thought and deed. We always eagerly anticipated going to see grandma and grandpa. They spoiled us and never disappointed-always making sure we were happy and healthy. You made me feel so special and so loved. Thank you for the beautiful memories which will always hold a special place in my heart.
