The beloved husband of Maria (nee Saturnino) dear son of Giuseppe and Elisabetta; devoted brother of the late Michele Giuseppe, late Elena (late Nino),late Rosa, late Antonio (late Caterina), Vittoria (Giuseppe) and Natalina (late Santino) and brother-in-law to Vincenzo (Caterina), Caterina (late Pippo), Joe (Josephine), Angelo (Rosa). Vince is sadly missed by his children, Elizabeth, Mimma (John), Joseph (Clelia), and Norma (Paul). He is also cherished by his grandchildren, Andrew (Meghan), Katie, Michael, Sam, Sophie, Dante, and Amedeo; and great grandchild, Beatrix. Vince arrived in Canada on May 26th 1949, and found a new life in Hamilton, Ontario. After securing a job at International Harvester, he returned to his hometown of San Giorgio Morgeto, Italy to marry his bride Maria in 1955. A lover of music, saxophonist, amateur electrician, and avid gardener, Vince grew and canned his own tomatoes, and made his own wine each year. He was a good neighbor who often acted as a translator for his Italian “piasani” when they were in need. Vince’s absence will be felt deeply by all those close to him. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. We are certain he will be an excellent and fierce guardian angel for us all.
