Wilma Mary Prosia
January 26, 1947 - March 6, 2016
Obituary
Prosia, Wilma Mary (nee DiFelice)

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wilma on March 6, 2016 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted wife and 'Juliet' of Romeo for 51 years. Loving mother of Lou (Joanne), Donna (Pete) and David (Rosie). Cherished Nonna of Julian, Siera, Lucas, Jacob, Jon-Paul, Tristan and Alyssa. Dear sister of Rita (Fred) and Vince (Dianne). Wilma was predeceased by her parents Gino and Nunziatina DiFelice. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. Mom radiated beauty inside and out. Her smile and laughter lit up any room she entered. Family was her everything and she was able to enjoy many trips and special occasions with them at her side. She was a tremendous cook and baker. Mom, you will never be forgotten as you are always in our hearts. We have many fond memories to remember you by. We know when the day comes, you will be waiting for us with open arms. On March 6th, the world lost a fantastic woman but Heaven gained the brightest of Angels. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff that cared for Wilma through her battle and gave her the courage to fight bravely.

Donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or the Juravinski Cancer Centre-Bright Run would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Rest in peace our beautiful Angel
Until we meet again...We love you

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I know she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and one day you will see her again, but for now she will be watching over you from above. Hugs to you and your family.
