KANG ,Woong "Matthew"Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hamilton General Hospital on Wed. Apr. 5th, 2017 at the age of 68.
Beloved husband to Young-Hee, devoted father to Jean McIntosh (Jonathan) and Marina Kang and grandfather of Samantha and Conan McIntosh.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington (905.527.0405) on Fri. Apr. 7th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Vigil prayers begin at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Yu Korean Roman Catholic Church, 6 Heath St., Hamilton on Sat. Apr. 8th at 10:00am. Burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery in Mississauga. 무엇이라고 말을 끄내야 할지... 이곳에서 이민 역사를 오래동안 같이한 강웅님께, 대건회/중앙 교우회/가까운 친우로써 깊은 애도를 표합니다. 기쁨과 슬픔을 같이 살아온 세상이 활동사진 처럼 머리에서 생각나며 지워지지 않읍니다. 다음주 성주간을 맞는 우리들에게 님은 많은 메세지를 주시는 것 같읍니다. 성지주일에는 예수님과 같이 행렬하며 예루살렘에 입성하시는 님을 볼것입니다. 그리고 못남 우리들을 위하여 하늘에서 우리 자리를 마련하시리 믿읍니다. 편안히 주님의 품에 안기십시요.

It has been our pleasure to have called Matthew our dear friend. He was a true gentleman and will be missed greatly. Wishing Young, Jean, Marina and families our heartfelt sympathy and praying a lifetime of wonderful memories of their beloved husband and father will sustain them during this difficult time and beyond. May Matthew rest in beautiful peace in heaven.
