In Celebration of

Antonio Viveiros

November 15, 1950 -  April 2, 2025

Antonio Viveiros, 74, of Hamilton, ON, passed away on April 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and four children.

Antonio grew up in small town called Ponta Delgada in Portugal. Antonio and his wife, Francelina, moved to Hamilton, 35 years ago to give their children a better life in Canada.

Antonio was a devoted husband to Francelina (Raposo) and a cherished father to Tony (Claudia) Tavares, Peter Tavares, Patricia (Decio) Teixeira and John (Kelsey) Tavares. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren—Emily, Matthew, Nicholas, Tiahna, Mikayla, Noah, Bianca, Nina, and Alex—who brought immense joy to his life.

Antonio was known for his fierce determination and a stubborn streak that was as much a part of him as his kindness and generosity. His strength was not just in his will but in the depth of his love, the sacrifices he made, and the unwavering support he gave to those he cared for.

Though he is no longer by our side, his spirit, wisdom, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Monday, April 7, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main Street West, Hamilton.
