Brookes, Barbara Ellen (Winters) - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the age of 71.

Dearest Mother of Cheryl (Dan) and Traci (Matt). Everloving and cherished Grandmother of Brittney, Brendan, Danielle, Ashley, and Zachary.

Loving sister of Len Winters (Margaret), and Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Brookes, her parents Hance and Norma Winters, and her in-laws George and Audrey Brookes.
Will be sadly missed by many other family and friends.

Thank you to the amazing staff of Able Living at Roxanne Place. We are forever grateful for the wonderful care and friendships made.

As per Barb’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. There will be a private service for immediate family only. A celebration of life will possibly take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
