In Celebration of

Bellamy Patrick John Fancey

September 20, 2024 -  November 4, 2024

We are devastated to announce the unexpected passing of our little fighter Bellamy Patrick John Fancey on Monday, November 4th, 2024 at 6 weeks of age. Loving son of Matt and Amy. Bellamy will be missed by his Grandparents, Great-Grandmother as well as his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his Grandparents Sheila, Pat and Darline. Bellamy enjoyed being read stories, cuddles with his parents and cherished visits with many loved ones. In his short time with us, he truly made the biggest impact and will stay with us forever in our hearts. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The open casket visitation will start at 2pm, followed by a closed casket service at 3 pm with cremation to follow. The location for the Celebration of Bellamy’s life will be held at Brown Barrel Eatery, 1515 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton, following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, Matt and Amy will be hosting a childrens’ board book donation drive for the Neonatal ICU at McMaster Children's Hospital as a special thank you to the staff and to bring some joy for future families staying there. Books can be brought to the Visitation or Celebration of Life. Alternatively, donations may also be made in Bellamy’s memory directly to the Neonatal ICU at McMaster Children's Hospital.

Our sweet Bellamy. We will cherish the memories we had with you in your short but impactful time with us here. Gavin was looking forward to showing you how to play with toys and talks about you often. He will forever have the sweetest angel on his side. We will miss those sweet cries and your little mouth sucking on your paci. How can a boy so small, make everyone gush over every soft noise of your voice and little movements? Forever the coolest, sweetest and biggest fighter. This family is forever saddened with the lack of your physical presence, but we will continue to smile while sharing our stories of you.

Matt & Amy, we wish we could take this pain away from you. You are outstanding parents and Bellamy has been the luckiest little fella to have you for the short time he did. He’s now with the best angels in heaven (with everyone fighting over him, I’m sure).

We love you!
