CHARTERS, Brian James Robert

Charters Brian James Robert, April 15th 2017. In his 65th year, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Survived by his brown eyed girl, his soulmate, Susan of 45 years. Best dad ever to Katie (Will) Pataky, Brian (Jen) Charters, Abby (Mike) Gosselin. Loving grandfather to Owen, Ava, Autumn, Devon, and Gary the Dood. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Winnie and brother John. Survived by his sister Lynne (Henry) Holtrop. Brother-in-law to David (Jo Ann) McFarlane and Brad McFarlane. Son-in-law to Donald McFarlane and the late Norma McFarlane. Survived by several nieces and nephews. A graduate of Architectural Design, later owning his own construction company. An avid motorcyclist in his early years, and a lover of classic cars and collectibles in his later years. He was a diehard Ti-Cat fan and season ticket holder. A strong and loving heart until the end. A celebration of life will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton Sunday April 23rd from 1 – 4 p.m. Please wear your Ti-Cat Colours. Classic cars welcomed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Make-a-Wish Foundation.
