In Celebration of

Calogero "Charlie" Lo Presti

April 8, 1967 -  August 24, 2024

Born Calogero (Charlie) Lo Presti on April 8, 1967. Charlie took his last breath and left for heaven on August 24, 2024.

Charlie was the much-loved son of Lucia Lo Presti and the late Ferdinando Lo Presti, and the best big brother to Antonella and Lucy. Charlie was most proud of his role as the father, hero, and number one fan to Matthew (Katie) and Stephanie (Michael); and Nonno to Eliana, Benjamin and Baby G.

He was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews; they along with brothers-in-law, and cousins in Hamilton, Kitchener, England and Sicily will miss him dearly. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by Sandra Lo Presti.

Family meant the absolute world to Charlie, and he would do anything he could to provide for and support his family. Strength and determination defined him. He was fiercely protective, devoted and he loved his family unconditionally.

Charlie was also loved and respected by a large extended family and many friends. Known for his infectious smile, his laugh and kind heart, his love of football, hockey and his famous cannoli’s! He loved spending time at the Trinacria Sports Club drinking espresso, watching sports and chatting with his friends. Charlie was someone who was always there, and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help.

Sadly, Charlie has left us far too soon, but we are thankful that in his life he has given each of us so many incredible memories to look back on and remember him. Rest peacefully Charlie until we see you again.

We ask that in Charlie’s memory you consider making a donation to The Huntington’s Society of Canada.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 30, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday August 31, 2024 at 11:00am, at St Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Hamilton.
