In Celebration of

Charles Herbert Robinson

January 9, 1941 - February 17, 2026

Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on February 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He passed away from pneumonia after a courageous fight. Sandy was the beloved husband of Eleonore Robinson. He was a proud and devoted father to Russell Robinson (Maria), Louise Lush (Perry), and Mona Lemire (Luc). He will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren, Devon, Kyle, and Taya, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Born in Hartlepool, Sandy came to Canada as a young boy and built a full and vibrant life rooted in family, friendship, and community. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Nina Robinson, and his aunt and uncle, Hilda and Charles Harrison.

Sandy was an avid sports fan and a passionate performer who spent many wonderful years on stage with Burlington Little Theatre and other local theatre groups. It all started off with “the Mikado in 1978” and he went on to perform in a variety of roles. He also worked at Hunter Drums, where he formed lasting friendships.

He had a deep love for music, movies, and his favorite television shows, and could happily spend hours exploring YouTube. He enjoyed his daily games of Skip-Bo, though he often admitted it was no easy task to beat Eleonore. Sandy treasured his monthly poker games and the camaraderie of his poker group. He also loved to travel and embraced life’s adventures whenever he could.

Sandy will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of everyday life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

As per Sandy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Online condolences can be made to www.baygardens.ca
