Cosimo left us peacefully on August 8th at the age of 88. Born to Domenica (Papalia) and Vincenzo in Delianuova, Reggio Calabria and relocated to Hamilton in 1952.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 65 incredible years, Marlene. Cherished by his dear children Vince (Sue) and Donna Hamilton (Terry). Loving Grandfather to Anthony, Jordan (Steve), Vinnie (Shannon), Taylor (Dallas), and Alyssa (Mason), and proud Great Grandfather to little Leo. Survived by Lena and Frank Filice, Laura Zoccoli, Pearl Zoccoli, Joe Collura, and predeceased by sister Rosa (John Versace), brother Domenic, brother Frank and sister Teresa.

He was the life of the party, happiest when surrounded by family, a full glass of wine and among friends at various social clubs around the city. He cherished memories travelling the world with his beloved wife Marlene and always tending to his bountiful garden, sure to have a pocket full of peppers for any occasion.

Cosimo will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
