In Celebration of

Dilia Natalie Narduzzi

May 22, 1978 -  July 18, 2024

It is with deep sadness that Dilia’s family announces her passing at the age of 46 surrounded by her loved ones after a lengthy illness. Dilia will be remembered for being a loving and supportive wife, daughter, sister and friend, for her love of reading and writing, good food and tea, knitting, sewing, nature and of course, puzzles.

The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Dilia. She loved engaging in a deep chat over a cup of tea and an amazing gluten-free treat, spending time with her family and friends and going hiking and birding with her husband. She was creative, intelligent, thoughtful, caring, loving, and kind. An extremely gifted writer, Dilia graduated with her PhD in English and Cultural Studies in 2011 and wrote for many publications. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Rob Porter, her mother and father, Christine and John Narduzzi and her sister and brother-in law, Lisa Narduzzi and Jesse Erle, along with many friends, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Special thanks to the extraordinary staff at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice who provided incredible care to Dilia over the last few months and specifically to Dr. Elizabeth Shaw and Dr. Pierre Major at the Juravinski Cancer Centre.

Dilia will be honoured in a celebration of life at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 24 from 2-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice at kempcarenetwork.org.
