It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of Donna Marie Levert, who left this world peacefully on October 14th, 2025 in her 73rd year.
Donna will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard Levert, and her children, Meaghan (David), Justin (Christina), and Steven (Jen). Her grandbabies William, Matthew, and Lucy send big hugs, kisses and cuddles to their grandma. Donna was the loving sister and sister-in-law of Doug and Charlotte Weiler, Judy and Dave Lumsden, Connie and John Van Sickle, Tracey and Angelo Santucci, Brian Patriquin, and Laurie Gallagher. She is now reunited with her beloved parents, Carol and Leonard Weiler and lovingly welcomed home by her dear siblings, Ken and Barbara. Donna leaves behind a legacy of love through her devoted nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Donna filled every room she entered with warmth and laughter. She was the heart and glue of our family, whose love bound us together and whose strength continues to guide us. Donna made everyone feel at home. She was known for her strength and timeless sense of style — always the best dressed, never without her high heels, and effortlessly elegant.
Donna faced life’s challenges with strength and grace, including her journey with Alzheimer’s. Though the illness changed her days, it never dimmed her light or unforgettable spark. We are deeply grateful to the staff and caregivers at The Village of Wentworth Heights for their compassion and kindness. Their support and care with Donna brought comfort to her and her family through every step of her journey.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th, at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton. There will be a family service at 3pm, followed by a visitation from 3:30 – 5:30pm. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honour the life of a woman who meant so much to so many.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or The Village of Wentworth Heights in Donna’s memory.
“Her spirit soars and her mind is free,
Her love remains in you and me.
Remember her not for what was taken away,
But for the joy, the strength, and the light she gave each day.”
