In Celebration of

Drew Taylor Clarke

September 11, 1998 -  November 16, 2021

Drew (Marci) Taylor Clarke was a kind, loving, sensitive and generous child to David and Heather, sibling to Holly (Paul), Leah (Ryan), Grace (Jaime) and friend to many. They were the strongest person, exhibiting courage and resilience in the face of incredible suffering.

Born on September 11 1998, Drew’s pain ended and they went to be with Jesus on November 16 2021. Drew will be missed by all of their extended family, and friends, many beautiful moments were shared with each of you. Drew loved and treasured you all. While Drew’s journey was difficult, their hardest days were brightened by a number of healthcare and support staff who showed genuine love, empathy and compassion. Your actions made all the difference and Drew knew you truly cared.

Drew consistently put others above themselves, always intentional with their words and actions. Drew adored their family, especially their niece and namesake Reese Taylor Hope.
Drew had a sharp wit, and a hilarious sense of humour. They loved 21 Pilots, the 1975 and their golden-doodle Burton Guster aka ‘Da Playa Gus’. Drew was artistic and the very best sister in the whole wide world.

Drew’s favourite thing to do was to spend time with their mom, dad, niece and sisters. She tolerated/ adored her brother in law (Ryan Bennett).

Drew exemplified selflessness and strength every day of their life. Though our hearts are broken, Drew fought until the very end, and we are thankful to know that Drew is at peace. We can picture Drew now, laughing alongside their Nanny (Lola Clarke) and snuggling their beloved dog Burton. Drew, we long for the day when we can give you another hug and hear your sweet voice. We will love you forever.

All are invited to join us for a celebration of life this Saturday November 27th, 2021 at 11am. The service will be held at Peoples Church in Hamilton (510 Mohawk Rd W ). There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Drew Clarke Support Dog Fund

My heart is with all the Clarke family in their time grievance, and in their time celebrating Drew's life. I have so many memories growing up with all the Clarke siblings - but Drew always had a special power when it came to humour and making me laugh. They will be so missed but always closely with you.
