With profound love and sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Esperanza Gomez Roman, who entered eternal rest on January 18th, surrounded by the love of her family. Esperanza grew up in Mexico, where she raised her four children Saul, Henoz, Raul, and Hilda while caring for her husband and working multiple jobs. To her children she was the backbone of the family and to all who knew her, she was the hardest-working person in the family, a woman of tireless dedication and quiet strength. She later immigrated to Canada with her family, where she built a beautiful life, embracing Canadian culture while remaining deeply connected to her roots and traditions.

A devoted wife to her late husband, Juan. Esperanza was a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. She was the heart and foundation of her family. Her life was a true reflection of unconditional love, resilience, and selfless devotion.

She nurtured and guided generations with warmth, wisdom, and a gentle spirit, leaving a lasting imprint on every life she touched. Though her absence is deeply felt, her love, values, and legacy will continue to live on through her family and the many memories they shared.

She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.

A visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton Chapel, located at 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery - 260 Rymal Rd East, Hamilton.
