In Celebration of

Felicitas "Fay" Sese

February 23, 1944 -  December 3, 2017

Felicitas Bautista Sese, or “Fay” as she is commonly known, was born on February 23, 1944 in Makati, Philippines. She passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, at home surrounded by her family, which was what she had wanted.
She leaves behind a loving family: her devoted husband of 48 years, Mario; her son Jay and his wife, Melinda; her daughter Eileen Joy and her husband Amit, her son-in-law Chris whom she viewed as her second son; her sister Myrna. She was a caring sister to her brothers Fedilino Bautista (deceased 2007) and Carlos Evangelista (deceased 1986). Loving Lola to her "beloved" granddaughter, the center of her universe, who also bears her name, Felicity Bella (Bella).

We find comfort in knowing that she rests in Jehovah God’s memory, and we eagerly await to see our loving “Nanay” (mother) and "Lola" (grandmother) again.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more,
neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away.”
Revelation 21:4

Fay was such a wonderful person and such a gentle soul. She had a good sense of humour and was pleasure to work with. Always a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. We have lost a good friend.

Felicitas Bautista Sese, or “Fay” as she is commonly known, was born on February 23, 1944 in Makati, Philippines. She passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, at home surrounded by her family, which was what she had wanted.
On April 9, 1969 she married Mario, and together they left the Philippines and moved to Canada to start a new life in Toronto. They had two children, Jay and Eileen Joy.
Fay and Mario enjoyed travelling the world, and after they had both retired, they especially enjoyed going on cruises together. Fay was a strong, independent, generous and energetic woman who loved gardening, often tending to her plants from morning to evening. Friends and family have enjoyed the produce of her green thumb over the years.
Fay adored her granddaughter, Bella, whom she called “my beloved.” She loved cooking for her and buying her clothes.
As a gardener, she looked forward to the time when the entire Earth would be transformed into a paradise-like garden, as foretold in the Bible. In the meantime, she rests in Jehovah God’s memory, and we eagerly await to see our “Nanay” (mother) again.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more,
neither with mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away.”
