Joshua was born on October 9th, 2001 in Hamilton, Ontario to Nino Leo and Jody Baird. He attended Nora Francis Henderson Secondary school, as well he attended Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary school for three years prior. He touched the lives of many with his kind, genuine soul. He never hesitated to help those in need with his selfless attitude. Joshua had a love for music and art and was an avid concert goer. Joshua loved to travel, especially to Disney where many beautiful memories were made with his family. He was a lover of animals, skateboarding, sports, and always willing to help anyone in need. He had a heart of gold. He had passion for helping those with Special Needs and was a Mental Health Advocate. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of such a compassionate and beautiful soul. He is a true example of one who loved others unconditionally.

We like to thank the outpouring of support, love and prayers for our family, it has not gone unnoticed. We ask that you continue your prayers so that his soul and spirit may continue to last eternally.

Josh was a very, very special young man. He became a part of our family when he stepped through our door and loved our daughter. His laughter, kindness, compassion, and crazy sense of humor will never be forgotten. Josh and Heather had big plans. They loved to talk about the future. He loved his family and was very loyal to his friends. We love you, Josh! We miss you terribly. May your family find peace with the many memories.

Josh was an amazing kid. We would always hang out at lunchtime, I would teach him guitar and we would go play in the music rooms. I sent my condolences to the Leo family
