With heavy hearts, the family of Juanita (Robertson) Byrne announces her passing on June 9th, 2024 at the Satellite Health Facility in Hamilton after a long battle with dementia.

Juanita was born May 19, 1952 in Corner Brook, NFLD to Augustus and Barbara Ann Robertson and moved to Ontario in 1972 after her marriage to John Byrne. They soon welcomed their loving children John II and Barbara (Daniel) Mummery.

She was adored by her two grandchildren Mackenzie and Darrin. She will always be remembered for her crocheted poodles, her love of camping, dancing with her grandchildren and going for all day picnics in the park.

Friends and guests will be received by Juanita's family at Bay Gardens Funeral Home 1010 Botanical Drive in Burlington on Thursday June 13 at 10:00 am with a short service to follow.

The family asks for donations to Cancer Research, Heart and Stroke or Dementia Research.
