June Adella Byrne

November 30, 1930 -  May 19, 2018

Born November 30, 1930, Louisbourg, Nova Scotia. Passed away quietly on Saturday May 19, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital with family by her side. June is survived by her children: Alan and Annette (Mark); her grandchildren; Jordan (Tori), Devon (Tony) and Meghan (Evan), siblings: Myrtle Greencorn, Marlene Richards, Linda Coveyduc (Cliff), all of Nova Scotia. Will be sadly missed by many family, 21 nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia and friends throughout Canada, U.S.A. and the U.K.

Predeceased by her parents Caroline and Holland Fleet of Louisbourg, husband of 55 years, Ernest Harold Byrne M.D., siblings; Beulah, Joyce, Lester.. June had many careers other than being a devoted wife and mother, her last passion was a J.K. teacher until she retired in 1995. Special thanks to the medical staff on 7 South and the entire Neurological and Stroke team at the HGH for their professionalism, compassion and care.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - 947 Rymal Road E, Hamilton (905-574-0405) on Monday May 28 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Bay Gardens Chapel on Tuesday May 29 at 11:00am. Internment, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and/or the Alzheimer's Society.
