It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Dawn Caruso at the age of 58 on Friday, June 7, 2024. Loving wife of 31 years to Rick Caruso. Daughter to Pat and the late Zoltan Gyoker. Daughter-in-law of the late Angelo and Maria Caruso. Granddaughter to the late Clara and Everett Crawford. Sister-in-law to Lena Rodgers (Tom) and Nancy House (John). Will be greatly missed by her nephew and nieces Joseph, Alicia and Briana. Fondly remembered by her Uncle Carm Crawford, cousin Sandy (Yvon) Shank. Loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Will be missed by her best friend, Butterscotch.

Lisa was a 35 year employee with Hamilton Health Sciences. She also volunteered with many organizations and was the chairperson of the Hamilton Young Stroke Survivors group.

Lisa enjoyed travelling, watching musicals and swimming in her pool. She always had a smile on her face.

A special thank you to the wonderful medical team and staff at St Joseph’s ICU department for lovingly caring for Lisa over the past 6 months. Gratitude is extended to the many support workers and medical personnel that attended to her at home over the years.

Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road E, Hamilton, on Wednesday, June 12 from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by a chapel service in the funeral home at 1 pm. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 254 Garner Rd W, Ancaster.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hamilton Humane Society or the March of Dimes.
