With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Lorna Gombio Gavina on March 5, 2026, at the age of 55. After many years of battling cancer, she passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother to Charlieson, Charlene Joy, and Charles Angelo, and a devoted wife to Charlie Gavina. She was also a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and dear family member to many in Canada and the Philippines.

Her love, strength, and warmth will never be forgotten. Those who knew her will remember her beautiful spirit, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel at home. Her strong Roman Catholic faith guided her life and the way she treated others, with compassion, generosity, and love.

We love you, Mom, always and forever.

Visitation will be held on March 10 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Hamilton. A Funeral Mass will be held on March 11 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church.
