Malini Ghosh passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2026, after courageous days surrounded by the love of her family and close friends at the Dr. Bob Kemp hospice in Hamilton. She was 90 years old.
Born in Mumbai, India, Malini was the beloved daughter of the late Ramrao and Latika Mhatre. She was a devoted mother to Manoshi and a dear mother-in-law to David. Malini was predeceased by her loving husband, Pratul, in 2005.
A woman of faith and quiet strength, she will be remembered by many for her gentle yet courageous spirit, for her wisdom, generosity, and for the many friendships she nurtured by phone and video in her later years.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, as well as to the staff at Dr. Kemp's Hospice, who cared for Malini with compassion and kindness until her last moments.
Malini enjoyed giving to charity - in place of flowers, she asked that food be offered to those in need: Hamilton Food Share and World Food Program would be appreciated.
