Mario Palombella

May 6, 1927 -  June 16, 2018

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Mario Palombella. He passed away peacefully on June 16th, 2018 at Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Mario was born in Gagliano Aterno, Italy on May 6th, 1927. He came to Canada in 1951, working at Stelco for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wanda, daughters Gilda Bissada (Yousry), Rosanna Brydon (Ken), and grandchildren Maria, Aurora, Geneva and Bianca, as well as his brother Michele. His sense of humor and sincere kindness will be missed by his entire family, including many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Family and friends will be received at Bay Gardens Funeral Home " William J. Markey Chapel" 947 Rymal Road East HAMILTON (905-574-0405) on Tuesday June 19th from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday June 20th at 10:30 am followed by the Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
