In Celebration of

Mary "Jayne" George (nee Clark)

February 11, 1961 - January 1, 2026

It is with deep and heartbreaking sadness, we announce the passing of our mom and best friend - Jayne, on January 1st, 2026. Born February 11, 1961 to parents David and Mary Clark (predeceased 2024), Jayne grew up in Lynden, Ont. and later settled in Hamilton, Ont. with her former husband Tom George. Jayne and Tom had two children, Chris (Shannon) and Amanda (Josh). Jayne was so happy and so proud of her kids, and she never went a day without telling them she loved them. She also leaves behind her greatest joys, being the best Nannie to Axel, Jordyn, Eleni and Ashlyn. Although our mom’s time was taken way too soon, she left an everlasting impact on those closest to her. Jayne worked in the restaurant business her entire life, where she met and knew more people than anyone could compare. She will be missed by her close friends - Mary, Cindy, Brenda, Kris, Janet, Tracey, and everyone she became close to at BB and RW. We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses from Juravinski and the Cancer Center who helped mom and stood by her side. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Mom, you will be forever loved, forever missed and forever in our hearts. May your memory bring comfort to the ones who loved you. Until we meet again.
