To the Hill family, my deepest condolences to your family on the loss of a beautiful lady. Maxine was my first boss and we later re-connected in Brantford. What a blessing it was to see her again and share stories.
Maxine is a peace now and smiling down on us!
She was such a wonderful lady. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

When I think about the memories I had with my Grandma I always think about the times that I spent with her during Summer holidays. We would spend hours playing Rummy 500 and eating cucumber sandwiches. If we weren't doing that, then we spent our time picking vegetables in the orchard or swimming in the neighbours pool. Grandma always had so many friends and so many people that cared about her. When we would go visiting we often would take her Quad. I always remember Grandpa Hill telling her to not go too fast, but as soon as we were out of sight Grandma had that quad going as fast as she could. Grandma loved her children, grandchildren and great children very much and she loved to spoil them with sweets! She always made sure that we had plenty of sugar when we were there. If you went to visit Grandma you know that she always had neapolitan ice cream and chocolate chip cookies in the freezer. But no visit was complete without her “mistake fudge” which was always served on a plate with a spoon and we were always allowed to eat it all !! These are memories that I will always cherish and I am so grateful that I had that opportunity to spend that time with her. I live will love you forever Grandma xoxo
