Peter Erny "Pete" Della-Nebbia

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished husband and father, Peter Della-Nebbia. He passed peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband of Kathy Della-Nebbia (nee Fournier) for 33 years. Dear son to Adina and the late Ernesto Della-Nebbia. Loving father of Lance Radinovic (Jenn Knowles), Tyler Della-Nebbia, and Kayla Della-Nebbia (Wyatt Lowry). Cherished grandpa to Raela and Avlyn. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Bette Matecki (late Stan), Pat Cino (Nick), Diane Barrafato (Paul) as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends both in Canada and Italy. Pete set an example of what being a father truly means. He had a great passion for family, humour, travel, hockey and loved babies and children. He is remembered as witty, welcoming, calm, open minded, thoughtful and pragmatic. He was blessed with life long friends.
Pete recently found a love of teaching and tutoring students in math. He found joy and great satisfaction in helping students achieve beyond their own expectations.
Although no time with him would have ever been enough, his family is eternally grateful for the memories and laughter that will last a lifetime.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Wednesday, November 8th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass and Celebration of Pete's Life will be held at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton on Thursday, November 9th at 10:00 am. Cremation will follow.
