Peter Leclerc

September 6, 1948 -  December 23, 2018

LECLERC, Peter-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Peter on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the age of 70. He was a great man, a loving husband, father and grandfather. Peter leaves behind his beloved wife Trudy, together for over 46.5 years, his cherished children, Steven (Lindsay) Leclerc and Amy (Adam) Zielinski, and grandchildren Danneca and Joshua Zielinski and Lydia Leclerc. Peter retired from Stelco Inc where he worked as a millwright for many years. Predeceased by his parents Bruno and Adrienne Leclerc, and granddaughter Cara-Lei Zielinski. Survived by brothers Bernie (Liz), Marcel and Ivan Leclerc and sister Sally (Denis) Larocque, sister-in-law Brenda (Randy) Marcotte, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by so many. We love you Pete. Until we meet again, may the circle be unbroken. This one's for you Pete. OSKEE WEE-WEE!! Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Friday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - Burlington, Chapel on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. We are so saddened to learn of the loss of your dear husband, father and grandfather. He is now at peace and with Our Heavenly Father. It was a pleasure to know Peter, talk with him about 'the world as we know it today', the 'olden' days and share his stories. He will be missed by all.
