DICK, Robert Alexander

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert on May 28, 2019. Beloved husband of 63 years to Iona, and loving father to Karen (David) Meharg and Wayne (Carm). Cherished grandfather of Jeremy (Dana), Matthew (Megan), Ashley (Reid), Derek (Amy), Steven (Cassandra) and great-grandfather to Mason, Finley, Henry, Kash, Ava Marie and Hailey. He will be sadly missed by hi sisters Joyce (d. Boyd), Lois (d. David), and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert was a proud employee at Stelco for almost 38 years. A special thank you to Bayshore CBI and VON, and to all of Robert and Iona’s wonderful neighbors.

Family and friends are welcomed to Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East on Monday June 3, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday June 4, 2019 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
