In Celebration of

Shaun Reddy Caskenette

March 29, 1988 -  March 1, 2023

Passed away due to an accident on March 1st, 2023 at 10:25pm in the Niagara Region, 28 days before his 35th birthday. Loved by his parents Nalini Reddy and Michael Caskenette, his daughter Kayla and his brother Alvin. Cherished by his Nannie Mrs. Gallo Reddy and the late Nana Lil’ Boy Mr. Reddy and his two cats, Alex and Minnie. Shaun will be missed by many cousins and all surviving family members from the Reddy and Caskenette families. He is reunited with his cat Dinky.

Shaun was involved in Karate and Martial Arts, training at Joslin's and Hamilton West United Family Martial Arts studios where his dad would drive him and stay to watch. He enjoyed weightlifting and exercising at Good Life fitness. Visiting family was a frequent pastime where he would tell jokes and loved making people laugh. They would eat together with his favorite foods being pizza, chicken wings, stew chicken and rice or visiting restaurants and enjoying a meal as a family. Shaun loved shopping and took pride in keeping up with his looks. Him and his Mom travelled often, visiting Cuba and going on cruises. Shaun would always ask her when their next adventure would be. He liked his cars including his Hummer and GMC Truck, Camaro and muscle cars. He had an appreciation for music, even writing his own songs. Shaun will be most of all remembered as being an adventurous, independent, and kind soul. He cared deeply about people and would always cater to others.

The family would like to thank Niagara EMS and the Victim Services of Niagara and Hamilton for their assistance. They would also like to thank all the friends and family who have helped to support and assist Shaun’s family during this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Road, Hamilton). Visitation will take place Friday, March 10th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Bay Gardens. A service will take place at Bay Gardens Saturday, March 11th at 9am. Private burial to take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
