In Celebration of

Stelios Anastasiou

October 23, 1947 -  January 31, 2023

It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Stelios ‘Steve’ Anastasiou, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Kathy for 43 years, loving father to Kelly (Steve), Sophie and Maria. Predeceased by his parents Anastasios and Kaliopi, his siblings Giorgios, Aspasia and Athanasios of Nea Koutali, Limnos, Greece. Steve is survived by his sisters, Olympia & Maria.

As an entrepreneur, Steve owned and operated several businesses throughout his life, most notably Tony’s Submarines in Hamilton, with which he worked alongside his wife and daughters for 30 years. He was an avid soccer fan, loved challenging anyone to a game of Backgammon and enjoyed all Greek music, food and dance. Nothing brought Steve more joy than being surrounded by his family and friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Hamilton General Hospital for their care, in his final days.
