It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Steven David Rebelo on February 27, 2018 at the age of 43. Devoted husband of Mary Rebelo (nee Scalia) for 18 years. Adored father of Serena and Adrian. Much loved son of Manny and Eleanor Rebelo and son-in-law to Joe and Sara Scalia. Dear brother of Karen (Leo) Filice, Christine (Daniel) Vukovic and Kevin Rebelo (Stefani Giftopoulos). He was the proud owner of S.Rebelo Landscapes who was recognized for his outstanding talents and passion for landscape design. He played hockey throughout his life, coached, mentored others, and was a proud hockey dad. He loved cheering for the Portugal national soccer team and was a big fan of the Toronto Maples Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. We are so heart broken. We are thinking and praying for all of you in this time of need.
Steve will never ever be forgotten. He was one of the most kind gentle and respectable person we have ever known. Whenever you called him he was ready to help. My home was the first home he designed landscaping and was very proud.
Every time I look outside at my white birch trees ,my Japanese oak and my magnolia I will think only good loving thoughts of the kind gentle soul. Will love you and never forget you Steve
