Bogdanis, Grozda (nee Kostsopoulos)


Passed away suddenly on April 10, 2026 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 92. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 70 years, Tome Bogdanis, and their daughter Joanne Stajov (George)

Grozda was a loving Baba to granddaughter Donna Bogdanis, grandsons Daniel Stajov (Meri), Matthew Stajov (Jennifer), Andrew Bogdanis (Bridgit) and Nathaniel Stajov (Ashley).

Also missing their Baba are seven great-grandchildren: Maya and Austin Stajov; Alexander, Max and Rex Bogdanis; Scarlett Stajov; and Ava Nersisyan-Stajov.

Grozda was predeceased by her son, Paul Bogdanis.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington). A Visitation will be held on April 15, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bay Gardens. Immediately following the visitation, Father Angel Starchev will lead the Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 pm at Bay Gardens. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, 700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlingon.
