Thomas William Corso

April 23, 1956 -  June 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas (Tommy) William Corso announce his sudden and unexpected passing on June 28, 2024, in his 69th year. Tommy was born in Hamilton on April 23, 1956, to the proud parents Anthony (predeceased) and Barbara Corso.
Tommy passed peacefully at home in the arms of his devoted Mother who lovingly cared for him his entire life.
Tommy is survived by, and will be sorely missed, by his siblings Yvonne (Bill), Anthony (Sharon) and Larry (Angela). Tommy will be fondly remembered by his Aunt Antoinette Hannon and his Uncle Salvatore Corso as well as his nieces Danielle, Sydney, Rebecca and nephews Tyler and Anthony along with many cousins.
Born with cerebral palsy, Tommy was a special person with a quick wit, special soul, a terrific sense of humor, and his smile would light up a room. He loved to meet new people and made friends everywhere he went leaving a lasting impression. Tommy loved life to the fullest going to the Toronto Exhibition for over 30 years, as well as regular visits to the Toronto Zoo, Canada’s Wonderland, area casinos, mall visits and many music concerts over the years.
The Corso Family will be receiving family and friends on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at Bay Gardens Funeral Home 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington, Ontario, L7T 1V1
(905)-527-0405 from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King Church, 714 King Street West, Hamilton, Ontario, L8P 1C7 on Thursday July 4, 2024, at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 580 Old York Road, Burlington, Ontario, L7P 4Y6.
In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to OFCP (Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy), CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
