In Celebration of

Beverley Doreen Mitchell (nee Barregar)

December 17, 1941 - April 3, 2026

Friends & Family,

Mom had a seizure on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and medical staff had sedated her for the remainder of her time with us. May she find hope, happiness and safety wherever her spirit and soul travel.

She was a beacon of inner strength and fortitude. Positivity and struggling forward, in spite of all her obstacles. Those who knew Mom, know her courage, tenacity, and fortitude.

I thank each and every one of our distant and not so distant family, Mom’s adopted brothers and sisters, her friends, our neighbors, acquaintances and colleagues and the medical staff throughout her battles. You all contributed to her life immensely. I know she is ever so grateful and blessed to be amongst such beautiful and wonderful people.

Please give a prayer that her passing was honorable and quick while she sleeps. With broken hearts we acknowledge and celebrate the life and gifts she left within each of us to share forward with those we meet along the way.

At 7:50 pm on April 3, 2026 (Good Friday), at the age of 84, Mom passed away. Mom made it through the night with me by her side. On and off during Good Friday, Mom came back and forth from resting. During the evening hours medical staff had turned her to face the window looking out at the sky. We watched as the daylight gave way to night; I called out the minutes to nightfall. While the daylight faded, Mom followed. God rest her beautiful soul.

Be advised as per Mom’s wishes her ashes will be released in private. We will plan a celebration of life to include everyone for June 21 st = the first day of summer. Please attend if you can and /or wish to be present. Details will follow on Mom’s Facebook homepage as soon as arrangements are made.

Gratefully and truly thankful.

God bless everyone
