WHIDDEN, Foster Edwin
Foster Edwin Whidden of Binbrook, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the age of 95, surrounded by his family on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Born on June 17, 1930, in Greenfield, Nova Scotia, Foster was the eldest son of the late Stanley Foster Whidden and Sadie Agnes Whidden (Bartlett).

A skilled and hardworking man, Foster loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted volunteer at the Glanbrook/Binbrook Conservation Area and gave 35 years of dedicated service to Stelco.

Foster is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Jean Catherine Whidden (Cornale); his sons Brian (Rhonda), David (Nadine), and Paul Whidden; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Beverley (Colin) Wellum.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Friday, January 30th from 10:00 am until the time of the chapel service at 11:00 am. Private family burial to follow.
