Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 1, 2026, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Mary for over 59 years.

Loving father of Derek.

Predeceased by his father, Andrew Stephan, and his mother, Esther Stephan; sister Isabel and brother-in-law Andrew Masrobian, brother Vernon and sister-in-law Dorothy; parents-in-law Mike and Marianna Fazio.

Fondly remembered by his coffee/lunch buddies, Danny, Russ, Peter, Raymond; predeceased by Larry and Albert.

Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Retired employee of Stelco Inc. for over 33 years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton. Vigil prayers Wed, March 4, 4:45 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud Street East, Stoney Creek.
