It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jason DeHal, of Smithville, Ontario, on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at the age of 48 years.

He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, on Mother’s Day, May 8th, 1977, to parents Cleveland Deonarine and Eunice DeHal Ramson.

Jason will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Chinda Chhoum and three year old daughter Calia. He is cherished by his six siblings: Margaret, Roxanne, Peggy-Gail, Mark Anthony, Devon, and Jamie. He is also loved by his nephews Jacob and Josiah. Jason is adored by his numerous in-laws, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Cleveland Deonarine and Eunice and his beloved Doberman Pinscher, Lila.

Visitations will be held at 1pm-4pm & 6pm-9pm, on Friday May 15th, 2026, at Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Hamilton.

A Service will be held at 9:30am, on Saturday May 16th, 2026, at Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Hamilton. Reception to follow.
