In Celebration of

Lidia Reda (Occhiuto)

July 10, 1941 - February 23, 2026

Reda, Lidia (nee Occhiuto) - With heavy hearts, our family announces the peaceful passing away of our beloved Lidia, on Monday, February 23, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Villa at the age of 84.

Lidia’s warm heart, kind nature, and devotion to her family will be forever cherished by her loving husband of over 65 years, Rocco and by her children Sandra (Anthony) Naccarato and Lou (Lisa) Reda. Lidia was the proudest Nonna to Alexis and Matteo and dear sister to the late Giovanni (Late Maria), late Antonio (Rosa), Late Gina (late Guido) Amelia (late Peter), Anna (Joe), and Linda (late Salvatore). Her memory will live in the hearts of her many extended family and friends both in Canada and back home in Italy.

Our family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to our family physician, Dr. DiPaulo, Nurse Gabriella and the entire team of caregivers and staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their incredible care and support both to Lidia and our family.

Her smile was so infectious and her memory will carry on through all those who loved her. Her life will be honoured with a private family interment at Bayview Mausoleum and Cemetery. A celebration of Lidia’s life will be held at a later date.

Kindly take a moment to visit www.baygardens.ca to leave a kind word or favourite memory of Lidia on her virtual guestbook or, if you wish, to make a donation in her memory to Canadian Diabetes Association.
