Morris, Monica (Duggan)

Passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2026, in Hamilton at the age of 90. Lovingly remembered by her children Steve and Rita, her grandson Anthony (Erica), her great grandchildren Asia and Elijah, cousins, nieces and nephews in Jamaica, America, and England. Predeceased by her siblings Joe, Lilith, and Pam.

Monica’s favorite hobby was cooking and making Sorrel, the Jamaican drink, every Christmas. She loved going out to the casinos, enjoyed watching Coronation Street and Young & Restless.

We would like to thank Niicola the Reverend at St. Michaels Anglican Church, Hamilton, Ontario for her kind words. Thank Alan and Barb, residents of the same apartment building, always have a kind word and hugs for Monica.

Arrangements have been extended by Bay Garden Funeral Home (947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, Ontario).

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 27th, 2026, from 1pm to 3pm.
