Norma passed away on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington at the age of 85.
She is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey (Anna) and Jason (Danielle); sister Linda; and four grandchildren.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence (Larry), with whom she shared 59 wonderful years; her father, Sydney; her mother, Annie (nee Smethurst); and her brother, Lorne.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home in Burlington. Norma’s cremated remains will rest with Larry at Bayview Cemetery (Burlington) in an indoor glass niche they had chosen together.
No public ceremony will be held as per Norma’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Joseph Brant Hospital (Palliative Care Team), or Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (Nephrology), or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
