It is with both love and sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Carson, who left us peacefully on March 16, 2026, at the age of 78.

Robert was the heart of his family—a devoted husband to Tess, a proud father to Patty, Barb, and Pam (Benj), and a loving grandfather to Roberto, Chantée, Jean-Philippe, Isabella, Gianpaolo, and Giuliano. He will be remembered for his warmth, quiet humour, and the love he gave so freely and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and care staff at Hamilton General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hemodialysis Unit for their compassion, dedication, and support during Robert’s care.

Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Friday, March 20th from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 620 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Saturday March 21st, at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
