It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Stefani Papalexion, Stefani passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20th at the age of 97. Devoted wife to Steve Papalexion (deceased November 2000) and was also predeceased by her son Steven (January 2025). Stefani was born in Sklithro, Florina Greece December 20th, 1928 to Theodore and Vasiliki Koutzodimos and came to Canada at the age of 20. Stefani is survived by her children Tina (Peter) and Nick (Sara). Stefani will be missed by the loves of her life-her grandchildren, Melissa, Danielle, Nicholas, Thomas, Stephanie and great grandchildren Madeline, Ella, Oliver, Adrian, Zoey and Nicole.

Stefani's most cherished moments were caring and cooking for her family, always quick witted and with a smile sweeter than honey.

Stefani, was a kind and loving person and will be missed by her family more than we can say. We take solace in that she is now reunited with our dad Steve and brother Steven.

We would also like to thank her many friends at Age Care Brant in Burlington for the gentle and compassionate care that she received. She loved you all.

Visitation will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22 Head Street, Hamilton, on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 11am-12pm followed by a service at 12pm.
