It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Anthony Fasciano on Dec 26, 2025 at the age of 38 in Hamilton, Ontario.
Stephen will be remembered as deeply intelligent, curious, and strong-willed. He had a lifelong love and fascination with computers and modern technology. Stephen was profoundly saddened by the sudden loss of his father Tony (in 2008) with whom he shared a strong bond and loving, supportive relationship. The death of his grandpa Gerry in 1998 also deeply affected him.
Stephen will be forever remembered by his mother Judy and sister Kathleen, his grandmothers Anne Hutchko and Maria Fasciano, Aunt Cheryl, Uncle David, Aunt Barb, Aunt Lina, Uncle Jerry, Uncle Nick, cousins Alex, Ronnie (Jessica), Graeme, Robert (Anthony), Kristina (Eric), Natalie (Nick), Tessa and both of the extended Fasciano and Hutchko families.
Stephen is predeceased by his father Tony Fasciano, Uncle Greg Hutchko, Grandfathers Donato Fasciano and Gerald Hutchko, and Aunt Jean Desimini. Tragically, Stephen’s cousin, Amanda Hutchko, died shortly after his passing.
A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and in honour of Stephen, please consider a donation to Wayside House of Hamilton (https://www.waysidehouseham.com/) or to CAMH (https://www.camh.ca/).
