Toshio “Tosh” Nanba, 83, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 29, 2025. Born in Woodfibre, British Columbia, on February 12, 1942, Tosh was the youngest of four siblings. A McMaster Electrical Engineering graduate and Delta High School alumnus, Tosh spent many years with Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman, managing technical projects with extensive global travel spanning many continents. Active in the Hamilton Jaycees, he rose to JCI Senatorship and served as Honourary President. A faithful member of St Paul's United Church and a Ti-Cats season-ticket holder, he enjoyed golf and contributed to many community and professional organizations.
Predeceased by parents Takeo and Fusako; sister Toyoko; and brothers Kenji and Kinji. Survived by sister-in-law Connie and nieces Debbie and Janice.
In keeping with Tosh’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St Paul's United Church, 42 Tragina Ave N, Hamilton, on January 8 at 11:00 AM, followed by a private interment at Eastlawn Cemetery and a reception at St Paul's.
