It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Citino on January 23, 2026, in his 90th year. After a very brief illness, Dad left us on his own terms, with dignity, and with the family he loved so dearly with him.
Vincenzo was the devoted husband of 63 years to Rosetta (Piano). He was the most loving father to Mirella (John Scarcelli) and Malisa (Denio Santucci). Proud Nonno of Adriano (Samantha), Joshua (Alexandra), Alexa (Anthony), Stefano (Hannah), Alena (Daniel), and Corrina (Matthew), and the cherished great‑grandfather of Noemi and Nico. He was a beloved brother to Egidio (Fausta) Citino, Chiarina (Vincenzo) Stumpo. Predeceased by his siblings Rosina (Antonio) Salvino, Francesco (Rosaria) Citino, Carmelo Citino, and Mario Citino. Vincenzo was a dear brother‑in‑law to the late Mike Piano, John (Gina) Piano, Frank (Carol) Piano, the late Barbara Spadafora, Josie (Guilio) DiBacco, Mario Piano, Nick Piano, and Louis Piano. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends in both Canada and Italy.
Vincenzo immigrated to Canada in 1957 from Rogliano, Cosenza, Italy, where he founded a tailoring buisness; Faro della Moda with his brother Jerry. He later became a very successful real estate agent, a career he dedicated himself to for over 30 years. Vince became an important figure in the Italian community, helping many families purchase their first home.
Above all, Vince’s greatest love was his family. What he cherished most was spending time in conversation with his wife, children, and grandchildren, and watching them flourish into the loving people they are today. Vince was a man deeply rooted in his values and took great pride in sharing his wisdom, teaching his children and grandchildren how to carry themselves in the world.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Monday, January 26th from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish, 280 Limeridge Road West, Hamilton, on Tuesday, January 27th at 10 a.m.

Vince’s legacy will live on in the hearts of the family he loved so deeply.
Rest in peace.
