In Celebration of

Bob Switzer

December 19, 1948 - September 25, 2025

Bob Switzer passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2025, at the age of 76 from mesothelioma. Beloved husband of Cheryl (née Edwards) for 55 years, loving father of Rob (Fleur), Heather (Dave), Holly (John) and Jason (Christine), and the adored Grandpa of Laura, Kyle, Allie (Keegan), Michelle (Joseph), Kaitlyn (Juan) and Ashley (Ben). Bob will also be deeply missed by his siblings Milly (Ed), Bill (Diane) Dave (Bonnie) and Rick (Joyce), and in-laws Bonnie (Al), Jim (Kathi), and Glenn (Paula).
Bob was a carpenter and a proud member of the Local 18 Carpenter’s Union (Hamilton) for 57 years. He was admired for his remarkable craftsmanship and for the joy he found cutting lawns and driving the big red tractor for Murphy’s Farms after retirement. He built a life filled with kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
The family extends a special thank you to Nurse Linda for her exceptional care and compassion. As per Bob’s wishes, a private family service has taken place.
