It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Bryan Emmanuel Neves, who left us far too soon at the young age of 22.
Bryan was more than just a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend — he was a light. The kind of light that could fill a room before he even said a word. You could feel his presence the moment he walked in. His energy was radiant, effortless, and unforgettable. So many people knew him, and even more loved him.
Bryan had a way of making people feel alive. Whether it was through his constant jokes, his playful nature, or the way he would annoy you just enough to make you laugh — you could never stay mad at him. He had a gift for turning any moment into something joyful.
He loved deeply and lived fully. Bryan had a passion for sports, music, dancing — but anyone who knew him truly knew his love for shoes… especially his own and his brothers’.
He is deeply loved by his mother, Chantal ‘Lengo’ Neves, and father, Eduardo Neves. He was a cherished brother to Zola Fernandes (Zola Jr, Marie, Julian, and Michel), Luisa Neves (Dieu, Gozene, Tabitha, Naomie, Abigail, Marjolein, Mardoche) Celina Neves (H. Michael, Aicha, Celmilka, Kingdavid, &Victoria) Bibiana Neves (Rosechantal); Jeanette Neves Amzati (H. George, Navlyn and Nala), Catarina Neves , Samuel Neves, and Siloe Neves.
As the youngest of seven children, Bryan held a special place in the family. He was the “perfect seven” — a beautiful reflection of the Neves name itself, as “seven” is “Neves” spelled backwards. In the Bible, the number seven represents completeness and perfection:
“On the seventh day God had finished His work… so He rested.” — Genesis 2:2
Bryan was that sense of completeness in his family — a final piece that made everything whole.
He was truly the center of attention without ever trying to be. A big light in his family, a joy to his friends, and a soul that left a lasting mark on everyone he encountered.
Though his time with us was short, his impact will live on forever — in laughter, in memories, and in the love he gave so freely.
