It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Kollar on October 23, 2025. Gary was born on July 25, 1963, to his loving parents, William and Helen Kollar.

Gary was the devoted husband of Tammy, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared passions – especially dog agility, cruising and photography. Gary’s enthusiasm for these hobbies brought him great joy and fulfillment throughout his life.

He will be deeply missed by his brothers Craig (Gina) and Kerry (Allison), sister-in-law Tracy (Ray) and father-in-law (Gary). Gary also leaves behind a cherished uncle legacy with Catriona, Lynzee, Ethan, Madison, Erin, Joey, Lucas and Logan who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Gary will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, his infectious sense of humor, and his unwavering love for family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Saturday, November 1st, from 12 p.m. till 1 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Gary’s memory.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
